The Brickell Key redevelopment project looks to transform the once privatized island. The plan to redevelop the island is to promote a vibrant, public space on the outskirts, with shops, restaurants, and mixed-use residential buildings. In the middle of the island is a neighborhood with limited car access, creating a safer pedestrian experience. At the bottom is a botanical garden, a space for people to detach from society and prioritize wellness. At the top of the island, closer to Miami beach, will be a lively waterfront with vendors and dinner cruises.
